Having been a Social and Scientific Home Economics teacher prior to raising her family and always having had a huge interest in Food and Nutrition, she went on to study Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. These 2 qualifications combined led to her developing a deep interest in Health, Nutrition and various forms of Complementary therapies.
Leentje attends many seminars on health, nutrition, acupuncture and personal development.
Straight after qualifying as an Acupuncturist in 2006 she went to China to work and study in a hospital in Shanghai under the supervision of Professor Lee of BBC fame, well known for using acupuncture instead of drugs for anaesthesia during all surgeries including open heart surgery and brain surgery. |
